Burning Incense in your Backyard
My wife and I were walking home one day from the corner store when we caught a whiff of a beautiful smelling incense infused into the passing breeze, from one of my neighbours backyard. It was sensational and unexpected.
Personally I have been biased against incense from a young age due to my Christian upbringing. As I have always seen temples burning incense to other gods. However, taking in that exotic perfume that fine day I begin thinking a little bit of perfume incense burning in the backyard on odd special occasions is absolutely a delightful treat for yourself and anyone passing by. So I thought I would give it a go. Firstly I made the error of burning the incense inside the home. It was simply too powerful and unless you really want to cover odours, such as cigarette smell, I do not recommend it. So following my neighbour I burned it outside. Best on a day with a slight breeze, and it is absolutely magic, lots of fun and surprisingly affordable. Preferably you want the breeze blowing away not towards your home, just to keep the air inside your home clean.
After trying a bunch of different incense sticks and cones. Here are my top picks...
1) Silk Road
2) Dragon's Blood
4) Night Queen

Another alternative to using incense sticks is the option of using incense cones. Incense cones are a little more compact and great value for money if you want your incense to last.
